At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2017, Slovakia's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 21.1% compared to 2016, reaching 6.9%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 14.7%.

Slovakia ranks 27th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 11.5% (from 7.8% in 2012).
