In 2017, Czechia's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 32.1% compared to 2016, reaching 10.7%.
The figure is below the EU-27 average of 14.7%.
Czechia ranks 22nd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.
Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 78.3% (from 6.0% in 2012).
