At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2022, Slovakia's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 21.4% compared to 2021, reaching 8.1%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 17.3%.

Slovakia ranks 27th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 17.4% (from 6.9% in 2017).
