At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2023, Slovakia's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 18.5% compared to 2022, reaching 9.6%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 16.6%.

Slovakia ranks 27th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 50.0% (from 6.4% in 2018).
