At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2021, Slovakia's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 8.4% compared to 2020, reaching 10.3%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 16.7%.

Slovakia ranks 26th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 80.7% (from 5.7% in 2016).
