Police-recorded offences by offence category

In 2017, Slovakia's police-recorded offences by offence category decreased by 8.3% compared to 2016, reaching 20,295.

Slovakia ranks 20th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 41.6% (from 34,730 in 2012).
