Population change - Demographic balance and crude rates at national level

In 1965, Slovakia's population change increased by 7.9% compared to 1964, reaching 8.2.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 10.1.

Slovakia ranks 21st out of 26 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 5.1% (from 7.8 in 1960).
