Population change - Demographic balance and crude rates at national level

In 1970, Slovakia's population change increased by 3.3% compared to 1969, reaching 9.3.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 10.4.

Slovakia ranks 20th out of 26 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 13.4% (from 8.2 in 1965).
