Population change - Demographic balance and crude rates at national level

In 1972, Slovakia's population change decreased by 4.3% compared to 1971, reaching 9.0.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 10.2.

Slovakia ranks 21st out of 25 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 12.5% (from 8.0 in 1967).
