Population change - Demographic balance and crude rates at national level

In 1995, Slovakia's population change increased by 2.1% compared to 1994, reaching 9.8.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 10.3.

Slovakia ranks 16th out of 26 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 4.9% (from 10.3 in 1990).
