Life expectancy by age and sex

In 1974, Slovakia's life expectancy by age and sex increased by 0.4% compared to 1973, reaching 73.7.

Slovakia ranks 9th out of 14 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 0.5% (from 73.3 in 1969).
