Life expectancy by age and sex

In 1991, Slovakia's life expectancy by age and sex increased by 0.3% compared to 1990, reaching 66.9.

Slovakia ranks 17th out of 22 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 0.4% (from 67.2 in 1986).
