Population structure indicators at national level

In 2009, Slovakia's population structure indicators at national level increased by 0.8% compared to 2008, reaching 36.6.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 41.0.

Slovakia ranks 25th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 4.6% (from 35.0 in 2004).
