Population structure indicators at national level

In 2009, Hungary's population structure indicators at national level increased by 0.5% compared to 2008, reaching 39.6.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 41.0.

Hungary ranks 18th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 2.1% (from 38.8 in 2004).
