Population change - Demographic balance and crude rates at national level

In 2009, Slovakia's population change increased by 87.5% compared to 2008, reaching 1.5.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 0.6.

Slovakia ranks 11th out of 16 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 275.0% (from 0.4 in 2004).
