Population structure indicators at national level

In 2006, Slovakia's population structure indicators at national level increased by 0.5% compared to 2005, reaching 18.5.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 27.7.

Slovakia ranks 26th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 1.1% (from 18.7 in 2001).
