Population structure indicators at national level

In 2011, Slovakia's population structure indicators at national level increased by 0.5% compared to 2010, reaching 19.2.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 29.0.

Slovakia ranks 26th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 3.8% (from 18.5 in 2006).
