Population structure indicators at national level

In 2012, Slovakia's population structure indicators at national level increased by 1.6% compared to 2011, reaching 19.5.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 29.5.

Slovakia ranks 27th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 4.8% (from 18.6 in 2007).
