Passenger cars, by type of motor energy and size of engine

In 2009, Slovakia's passenger cars, by type of motor energy and size of engine increased by 2.9% compared to 2008, reaching 1,589,000.

Slovakia ranks 19th out of 26 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 32.7% (from 1,197,000 in 2004).
