Population on 1 January by age group and sex

In 1967, Slovakia's population on 1 january by age group and sex increased by 2.1% compared to 1966, reaching 47,128.

Slovakia ranks 15th out of 18 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 14.5% (from 41,172 in 1962).
