In 2024, Slovakia's final energy consumption in households by type of fuel decreased by 5.2% compared to 2023, reaching 2,300.

Slovakia ranks 18th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 12.8% (from 2,638 in 2019).
