In 2017, Slovakia's share of total population living in a dwelling with a leaking roof, damp walls, floors or foundation, or rot in window frames of floor increased by 8.1% compared to 2016, reaching 6.70.

Slovakia accounts for 51.1% of the EU-27 total of 13.1.

Slovakia ranks 26th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 23.9% (from 8.80 in 2012).
