In 2018, Slovakia's share of total population living in a dwelling with a leaking roof, damp walls, floors or foundation, or rot in window frames of floor decreased by 23.9% compared to 2017, reaching 5.10.

Slovakia accounts for 37.5% of the EU-27 total of 13.6.

Slovakia ranks 26th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 32.0% (from 7.50 in 2013).
