Unemployment by sex and age - annual data

In 2020, Slovakia's unemployment by sex and age increased by 17.5% compared to 2019, reaching 6.7%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 7.2%.

Slovakia ranks 14th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 41.7% (from 11.5% in 2015).
