Unemployment by sex and age - annual data

In 2021, Slovakia's unemployment by sex and age increased by 1.5% compared to 2020, reaching 6.8%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 7.1%.

Slovakia ranks 11th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 29.2% (from 9.6% in 2016).
