Unemployment by sex and age - annual data

In 2014, Slovakia's unemployment by sex and age decreased by 11.2% compared to 2013, reaching 31.0%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 24.1%.

Slovakia ranks 7th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 8.8% (from 28.5% in 2009).
