In 2010, Slovenia's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 1.0% compared to 2009, reaching 20.2%.
The figure is above the EU-27 average of 15.3%.
Slovenia ranks 7th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.
Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 0.5% (from 20.3% in 2005).
