In 2023, Slovenia's police-recorded offences by offence category increased by 15.5% compared to 2022, reaching 24,892.

Slovenia ranks 19th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 34.0% (from 18,580 in 2018).
