Population change - Demographic balance and crude rates at national level

In 2021, Slovenia's population change decreased by 3.5% compared to 2020, reaching 11.0.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 11.9.

Slovenia ranks 15th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 15.8% (from 9.5 in 2016).
