Population change - Demographic balance and crude rates at national level

In 2020, Spain's population change increased by 18.2% compared to 2019, reaching 10.4.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 11.6.

Spain ranks 17th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 14.3% (from 9.1 in 2015).
