Population structure indicators at national level

In 2003, Spain's population structure indicators at national level increased by 0.5% compared to 2002, reaching 38.1.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 39.0.

Spain ranks 19th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 4.7% (from 36.4 in 1998).
