Population structure indicators at national level

In 2004, Spain's population structure indicators at national level increased by 0.5% compared to 2003, reaching 38.3.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 39.3.

Spain ranks 19th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 4.1% (from 36.8 in 1999).
