Population structure indicators at national level

In 2017, Spain's population structure indicators at national level increased by 1.7% compared to 2016, reaching 30.8.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 32.9.

Spain ranks 16th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 11.6% (from 27.6 in 2012).
