Main national accounts tax aggregates

In 2006, Spain's main national accounts tax aggregates increased by 1.9% compared to 2005, reaching 36.6%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 39.8%.

Spain ranks 12th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 9.3% (from 33.5% in 2001).
