In 2013, Spain's police-recorded offences by offence category increased by 0.1% compared to 2012, reaching 185,846.

Spain ranks 3rd out of 25 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 6.6% (from 174,276 in 2008).
