Unemployment by sex and age - annual data

In 2022, Spain's unemployment by sex and age decreased by 12.8% compared to 2021, reaching 13.0%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 6.2%.

Spain ranks 1st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 24.4% (from 17.2% in 2017).
