Unemployment by sex and age - annual data

In 2021, Spain's unemployment by sex and age decreased by 3.9% compared to 2020, reaching 14.9%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 7.1%.

Spain ranks 1st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 24.0% (from 19.6% in 2016).
