Unemployment by sex and age - annual data

In 2014, Spain's unemployment by sex and age decreased by 4.1% compared to 2013, reaching 53.2%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 24.1%.

Spain ranks 1st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 41.1% (from 37.7% in 2009).
