Unemployment by sex and age - annual data

In 2022, Spain's unemployment by sex and age decreased by 15.1% compared to 2021, reaching 29.7%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 14.6%.

Spain ranks 2nd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 23.1% (from 38.6% in 2017).
