Unemployment by sex and age - annual data

In 2022, Cyprus's unemployment by sex and age increased by 4.6% compared to 2021, reaching 18.1%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 14.6%.

Cyprus ranks 9th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 26.7% (from 24.7% in 2017).
