At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2017, Sweden's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 0.5% compared to 2016, reaching 18.6%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 20.0%.

Sweden ranks 14th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 5.1% (from 17.7% in 2012).
