At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2018, Sweden's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 3.8% compared to 2017, reaching 19.3%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 19.6%.

Sweden ranks 13th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 1.6% (from 19.0% in 2013).
