At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2019, Sweden's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 4.1% compared to 2018, reaching 15.2%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 16.0%.

Sweden ranks 16th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 11.8% (from 13.6% in 2014).
