At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2020, Sweden's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 0.7% compared to 2019, reaching 15.3%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 17.0%.

Sweden ranks 16th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 3.8% (from 15.9% in 2015).
