Population change - Demographic balance and crude rates at national level

In 2020, Sweden's population change increased by 10.5% compared to 2019, reaching 9.5.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 11.6.

Sweden ranks 22nd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 2.2% (from 9.3 in 2015).
