Population structure indicators at national level

In 2002, Sweden's population structure indicators at national level increased by 0.5% compared to 2001, reaching 39.6.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 38.7.

Sweden ranks 6th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 2.3% (from 38.7 in 1997).
