Population structure indicators at national level

In 2018, Sweden's population structure indicators at national level decreased by 0.5% compared to 2017, reaching 40.6.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 43.5.

Sweden ranks 21st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 0.7% (from 40.9 in 2013).
