Population structure indicators at national level

In 2021, Sweden's population structure indicators at national level increased by 0.2% compared to 2020, reaching 40.6.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 44.2.

Sweden ranks 23rd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 0.7% (from 40.9 in 2016).
