Population structure indicators at national level

In 2022, Sweden's population structure indicators at national level increased by 0.2% compared to 2021, reaching 40.7.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 44.4.

Sweden ranks 23rd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 0.2% (from 40.8 in 2017).
