Population structure indicators at national level

In 2024, Sweden's population structure indicators at national level increased by 0.5% compared to 2023, reaching 41.0.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 44.7.

Sweden ranks 23rd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 1.2% (from 40.5 in 2019).
